Merry Christmas. A time of great joy. Yet sometimes the busy-ness of the day can overwhelm us. And yes we can lose sight. Let's slow down, give thanks for what we have. Remember other countries, wars, famine and so much more. We are abundantly blessed.

Should the lose of a loved one, or past family hurts be holding you back from truly enjoying this day. Reach out, 2025 could be something altogether different, better even!

Gratitude.

Stop and enjoy the present.

Sometimes this season can fly by and before you know it, it's 2025 and you wonder when the time went. Pause now and say thanks for a couple of things today.

If it's been a rough day it may only start with. Thanks that I can breath, thanks that my heart is beating, then it runs into, thanks that yes I do have enough food and clean water. Thanks for my (insert that person you hold dear) - (Wife, Husband, children, sister, brother. Etc etc)

If it was a good day, maybe you can say something like, thanks that at that occasion today I was so thankful to have time with ....so and so, the time sitting sharing a coffee was so deep and rich for me. Maybe I'm so grateful my son can travel over from London to be with us this Christmas.

So each day from now til new years find something to be grateful for, it may just add a richness to your life, which will lift your mood, improve your mental health and have you in a place to launch into 2025, with.... confidence and deep appreciation.

Every man when he is young thinks he can take on the world and naturally of course is bullet proof. For some men, they never stop believing that.

Well mighty men, stop and reflect on the women in your life. The ones walking alongside you and some that maybe you don't see much of, yet their prayers and strength, potentially persuaded the LORD to preserve just one more day with you, as you tried to take over the world.

I pause for a moment and say thanks Julie Mothershaw and Noel Clark. There has been many others, but these two are my own blood.

When I became a Christ Follower, I called my Great Auntie Noel straight away. She simply said, oh that is wonderful, I have prayed for you so so many years...... humbled. Thank you, Julie and Noel

A consistent thought I have had, which if applied to your life will help a lot.

If you have the choice to be wise or kind, be kind. Wisdom is great and some of the best wisdom might be, stay quiet with your opinion or offer to "solve" the problem and just be kind with the person that is in your presence.

Your wife, your husband, your kids, your friends, work colleagues or neighbors.

Let us all choose Kindness.

Diets. I hate them, but everyone wants to eat well and due to all the mis-conceptions out there, no one is quite sure and so we are all looking for a plan to follow. Well, I have one for you, kinda.

Don't eat food anymore...... enjoy food. Go back to just Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (Plus dessert should you wish) and only good quality water in between.

Basically slow down, don't eat to fill your belly, eat to enjoy your food.

Think the night before, what would I enjoy for breakfast.. and make that. And slow down when you eat it, slow down enough to really taste what you are eating so you may enjoy the food.

Ideally try and eat with others.. make it a time of connection and that will add to your enjoyment.

Follow this simple "diet" and you will enjoy the results

"My wife and I went to the tomato fight in Spain! We enjoy our food, it's so fun!!" LOL

Hello. If you are still following me, thank you. I have had a couple of people reach out and ask if I am currently doing Life Coaching sessions. Sadly I am not. But due to a need for such a service, I would like to say, I am working on freely up some time in my schedule. For now, I will say, that January 2025 is when I will start in some capacity. Should you be wanting to be added to a call list, please reply to this post and I will be intouch as soon as I can.

Merry Christmas to you, your loved ones and the friends you choose to spend your time with.

As I say to my kids, life keeps ticking away, all we have is this one moment. This very moment we have now. It continues to move in one direction, forward, and we can only ever "act" now. Don't get caught in the past (only go back there to heal if needed), don't spend too much time either worrying about or even planning too much for the future, for it is uncertain, but "act" now. Do what is right, do your best, right now.

I am convinced, all we have is now. This very moment, it's a gift, an eternal now moment, that we act from. "Make every moment count". Much more to say, and assist you with. Look forward to meeting you, or connecting with you soon.
