Do you feel confident in your skills as a decision supporter?

Do you know how to build the decision-making ability of the person you support?

If you are unsure about your answers to these questions, then our 2-part series focused on providing decision support is for you!

Often, decisions are made for people with intellectual disability. However, practicing on low-stake, daily decisions prepares an individual for bigger decisions, life transitions and can assist a person to build their confidence to say "no" to harm or exploitation.

We’re Hiring! 🌟 Operational, Communications and Resource Coordinator (Part-Time)

Do you have a heart for social inclusion, an eye for design and a head for organisation?

Belonging Matters is a not for profit organisation looking for a versatile "all-rounder" to serve as our operational support, event organiser and creative communications designer.

This is a unique hybrid role where no two days are the sameβ€”you’ll be the person who keeps our Boronia office humming while crafting the creative communications that amplify our mission.

The Role: πŸ“ Based in Boronia, VIC (some work from home & travel for events) ⏱ 22 hours per week (12-month contract, extension possible) πŸ’° SCHADS Award (depending on experience)

What you’ll do:
β€’ Create: Design newsletters, event flyers, social media, and educational resources.
β€’ Coordinate: Manage logistics for online and in person events across Melbourne.
β€’ Organise: Handle office admin, IT troubleshooting and digital systems,
β€’ Connect: Be a friendly, professional first point of contact for our community.
