Feel like you're stuck in a rut with your weights? We've all been there. The next weight up feels so out of reach, you can't seem to get past 10 reps, you want to progress but aren't quite sure how to get there. Here are our best tips to hit those pbs! ๐ช
๐ฅFilm your sets! You don't have to post them, but the act of filming can help with intention and focus. You can even send your video to your trainer or workout buddy for added accountability.
๐ฅTell people your goal. Again - added accountability. Get people to hype you up and cheer you on!
๐ฅDon't be afraid to go to failure (safely). Often we underestimate our capabilities. With the safety bars set up correctly, you can be confident of trying that little bit harder for that extra rep or two.
๐ฅHave someone spot you. You might not even need them, but having someone right there with you can give you that extra bit of encouragement you need to hit your goal.
๐ฅDon't forget sleep, eating well, and hydration - these factors outside the gym can play a huge part in how you lift during your gym time.
