Previously a personal trainer and boxing coach in Melbourne, Luke was inspired to create PHJ by his mum, who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer in 2021. Luke and his mum spent years researching diet & lifestyle options that could help fight cancer. Green tea was one of the first focal points at the beginning of the journey. This ended up being the impetus for Luke's venture into matcha. Living in Japan has enabled Luke to establish partnerships with Japanese matcha experts.
