Circuit Breaker Melbourne Lockdown (Sat 13th Feb & Reopen Thur 18th Feb 2021)

Dear Propel Podiatry Community,

I hope you are all safe and healthy. As you are aware, this 5 day lockdown is currently upon us.

This time, Allied Health Professionals which includes Podiatry is NOT allowed to conduct ANY face to face consults. I have contacted our Australian Podiatry Association for clarification.

Their response was: due to the highly contagious UK Strain of Covid 19, the Government has decided that by making the lockdown shorter but stricter than last year will help reduce the spread of the virus in the community.

Therefore, we will contact all our patients booked in for Saturday 13th February, Tuesday 16th February and Wednesday 17th February to change their appointments.

We understand that this is extremely frustrating and we really appreciate your understanding and patience. We will be opening up extra hours to make sure we can fit each and every one of you who have already patiently waited for your appointment.

Please wait for our call on Sunday 14th or Monday 15th Feb because we will be contacting you remotely. If a NO CALLER ID number rings you, please answer the call!

Thank you again for trusting us with your foot health and we will do everything we can to make sure your feet are well looked after!!

If you have any concerns, please feel free to email me jasmine@propelpodiatry.com.au and I will be able to either give you a call or email you back to help you in the meantime!

We’re excited to introduce our newest member at Propel Podiatry... Yannes Lam! She is our Podiatry Assistant who you may have already seen around the clinic.
She has been helping us out from sterilising equipment to accompanying us on home visits all around Melbourne!

Feel free to say Hi to her if you see my doppelgänger... 🦶

As of Monday March 23rd, according to the Government, Podiatry is seen as an ESSENTIAL service and will continue to be OPEN until further instruction from our Government.

We use strict infection control measures to keep all our instruments and surfaces disinfected with hospital grade cleaners.

Wow! What a morning!! Thank you to the Chinese Community Social Services Centre Inc. (CCSSCI) for inviting us to be your guest speaker at Box Hill Town Hall today!

We hope the Chinese Community learnt a little bit more on how to keep their feet healthy and how podiatrists can help them walk happier!
