Our vision of 'Gardenup' is to maintain a community farm in Boyup Brook, where people of all ages feel welcome. Our dream is to provide a safe and healthy place where we can enjoy gardening as a social activity. We will share the harvest by working together. Our aim is to provide education on healthy living and nutrition according to the Bio Dynamic and Organic farming and gardening methods. In this way we can master skills to grow fruit and vegetables according to these biodynamic practices and make safe and healthy food accessible to the community. The other day I had the pleasure of meeting a lady who referred to me as the Chook Lady in town. I graciously acknowledged her recognition, as I have dedicated over two decades to breeding pedigree poultry. Simultaneously, I have also been serving as a Thermomix Consultant during this time.

My journey began when my mother and I acquired Gardenup in Boyup Brook, where I diligently cared for my chickens while looking after my mother, who required specialised foods. This endeavor eventually led me to purchase my first Thermomix in 2004 and subsequently become a Thermomix consultant. I earned my Thermomix through hard work and dedication, and over the past 20 years, I have assisted over 600 individuals in enhancing their cooking skills, making positive lifestyle changes, or simply rediscovering the joy of cooking with the help of a Thermomix.

I am deeply passionate about both of my professions and feel incredibly grateful for the support of all those who recognize me as the Chook Lady and Thermomix Consultant. Without the trust and loyalty of my customers, as well as the unwavering support of my husband Tim, I would not have the privilege of reflecting on my two decades of fulfilling work in these roles.

Thank you to each and every one of you for being the pillars upon which I rely. Your trust and encouragement have sustained me throughout this incredible journey spanning over 20 years.

🐑🐑🐑 The Zest farm is more like a "baa-sic" orchestra right now! We're herding our sheep to market and gearing up for a whole lot of "shear" fun in the coming days.

We are in the process of sending some cattle to the market and wish to ensure that none of them are pregnant. We enlisted the expert help of Sarah, who conducted the necessary tests. Despite the challenging weather conditions during her work, Sarah's assistance was invaluable. We are grateful for her expertise as she identified one pregnant cow among the group she tested. This underscores the importance of thorough testing before market readiness. Thank you, Sarah, for your assistance.
