Join us for a complimentary Therapeutic Yoga Class at Step Into Health Care

We are excited to announce, our physio Sam will be starting weekly Therapeutic Stretch and Flex Yoga classes. There will be a COMPLIMENTARY trial class at 9.30am this Thursday 9th October with regular classes beginning Thursday 23rd October.

Numbers are limited so get in quick!

Sam has been teaching Yoga for over 10 years and has been steadily refining his approach to Yoga therapy in the tradition of Krishnamacharya and Anthony Grimm-Hall. The class will be accessible to all levels including those needing to practice from a chair.

Migraine & Headache Awareness Week 22-26 September 2025

Headache is one of THE most common chronic conditions on the planet and is a leading cause of disability-adjusted life years (DALY’s). This means that headache is right up there with lower back pain as a cause of days lost to pain and suffering when you could be out living, working, and enjoying life.

Sam, our resident physiotherapist takes a rehabilitative approach to headache and migraine, combining his training in the Watson Headache Approach™ with his broad experience in exercise-based rehabilitation and pain science to help you find an effective, lasting solution.

We now offer Super-pulsed low level laser therapy (LLLT) as part of Physiotherapy treatment at Step Into Health Care.

Sam uses LLLT as a non-invasive therapy which may assist with pain management and recovery from a range of conditions including:

-Osteoarthritis (OA)
-Lower back pain (LBP)
-Neck pain
-Tendinopathy
-and more!

LLLT is provided as part of a full physiotherapy assessment and treatment plan to make sure you have the smoothest and most complete recovery possible.

Our Story - ‘A Step In The Right Direction’

Kieran Step, Stefanie Villinger, Thomas Eastman and Tamsyn Sheffield, Osteopaths at Step Into Health Care aim to get you pain free and mobile and back to your daily activities as quickly as possible using our ‘hands-on’ approach. We also support and maintain you staying mobile and healthy for the long term.

We also work closely alongside with Yvette Croft our remedial massage therapist. Yvette brings 18 years of experience and is also a therapist for the Canberra Raiders team.

Our clinic also offers small, individualised mat Pilates classes with one of our Osteopaths, Tom Eastman. Osteopathy is a form of health care which uses hands-on techniques to diagnose and treat structural and biomechanical dysfunction and various conditions of the body. As Osteopaths we utilise a range of techniques to help support the body’s ability to heal and to improve joint mobility, reduce ligamentous and muscular strain and restore overall health and balance. Osteopathic treatment uses techniques such as stretching and massage for general treatment of the soft tissues (muscles, tendons and ligaments) along with mobilisation of specific joints and various soft tissues.
