What an incredible weekend. We explored the 5 koshas (layers of our being) through movement, pranayama, meditation, yoga nidra and an array of activities- beeswax workshop with honeycomb, candles and moisturiser bars, beach meditation, yantra creating, kokedama, kirtan, sound healing and vision workshop ... wholesome and heart felt. A huge thank you to the 18 beautiful souls that joined John and I to make this retreat an unforgettable experience x

While teaching yoga in Germany a yogini, Angela Farmer used carpet underlay cut to towel size during yoga classes; she returned home to London with the material. Angela's father, Richard Farmer, contacted the German padding manufacturer and became the first retailer of what we now recognize as a 'yoga mat'.
