A massive thank you to our incredible mates at TradeMutt for generously donating the speaker gifts! 🙌

TradeMutt is all about starting conversations to combat the mental health crisis, and they made sure our panellists went home with some seriously cool, conversation-starting gear.

Hey, Team TGMC! We're thrilled to share the evolution of The Great Mate Check-In with our brand new logo!

As we transition to becoming a registered Not-For-Profit, we needed a logo that clearly communicates our focus on commitment and connection.

What the Logo Means?
The design is simple, but every element has purpose:

The Community Frame: The bold, squared outline represents the safe, inclusive community we are building. The outline is the space where the connections happen.

The Mission: The letters TGMC (The Great Mate Check-In) sit at the very heart of the frame, reminding us that our mission is our commitment.

The Conversation: The 'C' in TGMC contains a chat symbol—a crucial visual reminder that our mission is achieved through communicating and opening up a dialogue.

This new logo will guide us as we launch our Micro-Grants program and our new event schedule.

At 11 AM today, we paused to remember.

On this Remembrance Day, we honour the brave men and women who have served, sacrificed, and continue to serve our nation. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

We have to pause for a massive, heartfelt shout-out to a true champion of our cause, Shaun Reeves of Hip Hops Brewers ! 🏆

Shaun has been an absolute rockstar supporter of The Great Mate Check-In from day one. His commitment goes far beyond sponsorship:

👏He provided discounts on services to ensure more of your fundraising went directly to MISA.
👏He offered incredible sage advice and guidance to help us grow the event.

WOW! What a day. The Great Mate Check-In 2025 was an absolute SMASHING HIT!

Thank you to every single person who showed up, shared their vulnerability, and proved that the power of community is stronger than isolation.

Because of your incredible generosity and commitment, we are thrilled to announce that we raised a grand total of $6,900 for MISA : Men's Information and Support Association!

This isn't just a number—it means we can help MISA provide over 100 fully subsidized counselling sessions and workshops for men in our community who desperately need them. That is the true meaning of a great mate check-in.
