43 years Tom Bowen passed away. I'm sure he would look down and smile to see over 40,000 people practicing his technique.

As every other year some of Tom's personal students have put a tribute in the Geelong Advertiser.

There are still a few appointments available before I head away on holiday, my last day will be the Tuesday after the Grand Final Weekend, and I will return Thursday 2 weeks later. Will be off to do some boating around the Gippsland Lakes District ☺️

We are after a child (like C) to give a free gift to from the Tom Bowen Legacy Trust Fund. We have up to $3000 to spend to help children with a disability buy something they need to help them in their daily life (eg. wheelchair, etc), or even just would like for leisure (eg. iPad, etc). It has to be something that wouldn't be supplied by the NDIS.

I'm in the Bowen Association Committee and I've got the job to find recipients of gifts and we have had nobody apply yet, so if you get Bowen Therapy and have a disability, or even have a child with a disability get in contact with me and I can send you a form to apply!

By activating specific muscles, a smile communicates to your body that it’s safe to relax, helping to ease the fight, flight, or freeze response. 😊

Bonus: even if we just pretend to smile, the muscle contraction can still trigger our nervous system to respond as it would if we were really smiling.

It's been awesome getting back into the clinic again in 2025!

Liz has done a great job with the sunflowers again and since starting back yesterday the Bowen is already starting to make them smile 😊

The Natural Therapy Expert Advisory Review Panel has completed its investigation into reinstating health fund rebates for complementary therapies.

Their report is due to reach Health and Aged Care Minister Mark Butler by the end of the year.

Bowen Therapy is a uniquely Australian modality that supports health, the economy, and our communities.

We’ve sent Minister Butler a letter highlighting Bowen's impact and the need for health fund rebates to support both practitioners and clients.
