πΌ Enjoying Elderflower at the moment π
I have two Potted Elder plants, two different species. One Sambucus canadensis and pictured here is Sambucus nigra πͺ΄ πΌ
I could harvest the flowers for tea or skin care or delicious cordial..... but right now I'm enjoying engaging with her exactly as she is, because plants offer healing on many many levels πΏβ¨οΈ

π A happy little Herbalist was I on Friday morning π
I felt called to harvest Vervain (Verbena officinalis). How beautiful was this intuitive call... harvesting close to the New Moon & Summer Solstice, on a Friday the day of Venus which rules Vervain π
Imagine, on my hands and knees in complete Vervain bliss, a smile from ear to ear, snipping gently spriggs of Vervain to the Summer morning song of magies and Carnaby's black cockatoos πΆ
The harvest now air dries slowly, the way nature intended. Later to be an ally for the liver and nervous system π

A friendly reminder that there is a slight change to my fees as of September 1st πΏ
I do try to keep my fees as modest as possible as I believe herbal medicine should be accessible to all, however it is also important that I keep things sustainable so that it is viable for me to continue to offer my services π
I have reopened online bookings too, for both telehealth and in person consultations
- though there's still a few weeks wait period .
Herbal blessings,
Jen π·

I may have been quiet online lately & it has been quite an introspective winter for me, but things continue unfold behind the scenes of social media.
My little business is undergoing a subtle rebrand, softening, approaching life more gently, as am I.
Today my new business cards arrived. I love the new look. To me they feel more earthy & grounded than the previous white background πΏ

Hello, Iβm Jen the Herbalist. Herbs are my passion. I am a professional, dedicated and compassionate Herbalist, with experience in treating a range of health conditions in men, women and children from all walks of life. I firmly believe in the ability of herbs to help restore balance within the body and bring about an improved state of health.
It was through my own health journey, following a life-changing accident in my teens, that I came to discover my passion for natural medicine. Initially, I began studying Naturopathy, but I soon realised that it was the herbs I felt a special connection with.
βI describe myself as a traditional Herbalist, preferring to use liquid formulas as much as possible. I love liquid formulas because they capture the synergy of the medicinal plant components and can be tailored to suit each unique person and their individual health condition. My philosophy involves assessing the whole person, not just the dis-ease, and I aim to address the cause of ill health, whilst providing symptomatic relief.
With a special interest in stress-related disorders, weight management and digestive health, aim to help my clients better understand their health and give them the tools to assist in adopting lifelong habits for optimal health and wellbeing.
I offer natural health consultations (incorporating iridology), herbal remedies, nutritional supplements, boutique herbal tea blends, and handmade herbal creams. Skype consultations and prescription/product mail outs are available.
βI look forward to the opportunity to help you reclaim the health and vitality you once had.
