This was my reply to some questions that were asked on a previous post about Kahuna Bodywork

"Expansion, centering, coming back to self!
Re patterning of old ways by moving to the space within the body, which allows consciousness to expand.
Unlike traditional massage where focus is often directed specifically to pain points in muscles and fascia.

A reconnection and remembering who you are!!! ❤

Training for bodyworkers is similar to that of a martial art, where we practice specific movements often for hours at a time. Which pushes us to our edges and allows break through and the ability to come back to oneself and then put whatever arises emotionally, mentally back into motion.
Facing ones own “sh*t” and that which may have been passed down the line ancestrally, allowing one to face and move thru and “master the self”

Injury and awareness of pain points is noted via a thorough client intake form

Kahuna can feel remedial at times due to some of the stretches yet also deeply relaxing

It’s unlike any other style of bodywork I’ve come across.
Lomi lomi and other Polynesian massage styles may have some similarities with the repetitive movements/strokes applied on the body almost like waves ebbing and flowing, yet Kahuna bodywork is one of a kind!

It can be challenging to put into words what one may experience in a session..........
I’ve had clients sensing themselves as seeds sprouting on forest floors, becoming sting rays gliding/flying thru the depths of the oceans and others remembering their babes in utero and then almost like they are in utero again themselves
One is ever so held in a kahuna bodywork session, we are physically a lot closer than remedial massage and under body work is incorporated when one is face up. It’s like being held like a baby all over again in a way!

After an 18mth break from offering Kahuna Bodywork sessions I’m sooooo excited to announce that I am now offering this incredible bodywork again!

Sessions are available on Saturdays in Aldgate and I’m already half booked for my first three days back!

Saturday 15th January @ 12pm
Saturday 22nd January @ 12pm
Saturday 5th February

All sessions are 90mins and $150 cash or bank transfer
