The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding and support to Australians living with a permanent and significant disability.

The NDIS is designed to help participants build skills, improve independence, access therapies, and receive the supports they need to live their everyday lives. Supports may include allied health services, community nursing, support coordination, and capacity building supports.

High-intensity supports are specialised services designed for individuals with complex health needs. Some support needs even have special requirements that the NDIS requires providers to follow to make sure that supports are delivered safely and in consideration of their complexity!
