Surgical Engineering is pleased to announce we have just purchased our new mobile service van.
This van will be decked out for all on road servicing with spare parts, toolboxes & a bench.
We can’t wait to get our service van up & running & our signage on this beauty!

The passion Brendan has to help others gain their independence back is phenomenal.

To all our new followers let me reintroduce you to Brendan.
Brendan has owned Surgical Engineering for the past 2 years. Prior to Brendan owning it, Surgical Engineering has been around for 30+ years.

Brendan is a T6-7-8 paraplegic. May of 2009 Brendan & a group of friends went out motorbike riding at the infamous glasshouse mountains. Unfortunately this is where Brendan had his accident. He fell 7m off a cliff & broke his back in multiple places, broken ribs & punctured lungs. If he wasn't wearing a motorbike helmet he wouldn't be here today.

15 years ago Brendan's accident happened. He has come so far in these past 15 years. Brendan found love, which turned into marriage, he has a beautiful 6 year old daughter (who LOVES motorbikes & is just as crazy as her dad) he built a family home & started his first business BET mobility repairs & then he bought Surgical Engineering. 1 business went to 2 overnight.

Brendan's passion is helping people, helping them with new equipment to get them out of bed & back into the community. To help clients get their independence back. Brendan is always out on the road for repairs, scripting, meeting new clients & new OT's.
He tells our clients those who have been in wheelchairs for years & those who have sustained new injuries to "Never ever give up, you are here, you are important & you matter. It's ok to have bad days but remember the good days always outweigh the bad. Smile & remember that you are loved"

Emmeliah is back again but this time she is on the Batec power assists.
Batec’s would have to be the easiest power assist device to attach & remove off your manual wheelchair. The batecs can also be used on folding manual wheelchairs.
We offer trials for all our products!
Don’t forget, if a 6 year old can do it, so can you 🙌

Surgical engineering is seeking an employee for upholstery wrapping shower commode seats for disability equipment You must be reliable, outgoing & work within a team in a fast paced environment.

You’ll have a weeks training with brendan but if you have prior experience that would be a bonus. Immediate start.
Casual with opportunity to go full time.
