Are you being LAZY or are you being AVOIDANT?
I’ve had MANY people tell me that they’re too lazy to implement certain health principles . . . BUT after a little bit of digging, it is often avoidance!
Avoidance may be serving a part of the psyche while at the same time causing harm.
👉 EXAMPLE 1 - some people will tell me that they’re too lazy to prepare good quality food but after a little bit of digging it can often be that the junk food is serving a part of the psyche.
Junk food can provide a form of safe love that can cover up underlying emotions and thoughts that someone is not quite ready to deal with yet. I personally think support can really help break through this pattern.
👉 EXAMPLE 2 - I have worked with many clients that will work there butt off for an employer but when it comes to following their passion they will tell me that they are too lazy to implement anything. This is often a lot of doubt and fear playing out.
