“The scariest moment is often just before you start”

RUOK day....the highlighted day to check in on people around us and connect with those who might need someone.

“But this should be everyday” I hear people say.

Ideally yes, but I can appreciate that life is hectic and people aren’t perfect so if a specific day educates the world on these concepts and shines the spotlight on mental health, coping and connection.....then bring it on I say! 🤗

I value checking in with clients and this is a handy tool which can be helpful. Here are some reasons why we may use such a tool:
* to notice and understand trends with your emotions over time.
* to help explain to someone else where you are at (because everyone’s description of ‘good’ is not the same).
* to notice small differences in how we feel that sometimes might be overlooked in the bigger picture.
* to put things into perspective to how you’ve felt at other times.
