After last week’s post about what makes a great SIL provider, we’ve loved hearing your thoughts - and it reminded us of something special.

A truly great SIL experience isn’t just about the support we provide. It’s about the connection, trust, and shared moments that turn a house into a home. Over the past month, we’ve welcomed new clients into spaces where they can settle in, feel safe, and start shaping life their way, and it’s been incredible to watch.

Every laugh, every goal reached, every “first week in the new place” update… that’s what makes this work meaningful.

Finding the right Supported Independent Living (SIL) provider is a bit like online dating. You want someone who gets you, listens, and doesn’t ghost you when things get tricky.

Here’s the checklist for your “perfect match”:
💙 Actually listens to you. Not just nodding while planning dinner in their head.
🏡 Keeps the house clean. Because you deserve better than mystery leftovers in the fridge.
📞 Communicates. Texts back faster than your ex.
💪 Supports your goals. Whether it’s cooking your own meals or becoming a karaoke champion.
😄 Has great vibes. You should feel comfortable, respected, and maybe even have a laugh or two along the way!
