What is Golden Paste and what does it do?
Golden paste is a mix made up from organic Turmeric powder, freshly ground black peppercorns, water and healthy oils, I always use organic coconut oil.
Turmeric has been used for centuries as a spice in many foods within many cultures, we are only now finding out the health benefits that this powerful plant contains.
My journey with golden paste started when my horse developed a cancerous sarcoid. After being on vet prescribed creams for nearly over 12 months and no change and dull coat, I started hearing whispers about the benefits of turmeric. Within 3 months of my boy being on golden paste, his sarcoid had dropped off and healed completely with his coat as bright as it has ever been. This was 4 years ago, he has been cancer free ever since and continuing to live a happy, healthy life as a riding horse. If this wasn't enough to convince me, my Great Dane had completely ruptured his ACL, our only option was specialist surgery at $10,000+. After trying to come up with the money, I put him on golden paste to see if it would help with his pain, as you might have guessed, he hasn't had the surgery, and continues to run around the property and play with his friends like nothing ever happened.
Turmeric is well known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties as well as multiple other benefits. However it is poorly absorbed into the body, so using the powder in foods just isn't enough. The black pepper, which contains piperine, is a natural substance that enhances the absorption of the curcumin in turmeric by 2,000%. It doesn't have to be taken orally, it can also be put on topically, onto wounds, rashes etc
I personally strongly believe in the healing nature of golden paste and all of my animals, from cat, dogs to horses consume it as part of their on going wellness benefits, I also consume it myself, after some heavy horse riding falls has left me with soft tissue injuries and joint issues.
I am no doctor, vet or qualified in any alternative medicine, I simply make the paste for myself and family and believe that many others could also benefit from this. I have also noticed many companies are taking advantage of how many people are looking for alternative medicine and they have marked up the prices so heavily that not many can actually afford to give to themselves, let alone their animals. I am more interested in helping the people and animals in my community, not money, I am selling my jars for absolute cost price. Golden paste is also easy to make feel free to make it yourself! pro tip: it stains E V E R Y T H I N G, so get a separate pan and cooking utensils!
