🌿 Grounding for wellbeing

When things feel overwhelming, grounding techniques can help bring attention back to the present moment.

One gentle option is the 5–4–3–2–1 grounding technique, which uses your senses to slow things down:

• 5 things you can see
• 4 things you can feel
• 3 things you can hear
• 2 things you can smell
• 1 thing you can taste

There’s no right or wrong way to do this — it’s simply about noticing what’s around you, at your own pace.

At Flow Support, we support participants with practical tools that promote emotional regulation, wellbeing, and confidence. Through counselling, psychosocial recovery coaching, and NDIS Support Coordination, we work alongside people to build strategies that feel supportive, realistic, and person-centred.
