Convergence Medical are excited to announce Ayda Dastgerdi has joined the Mechanical Team.

Ayda is a Biomedical Engineer with a PhD and over five years of research experience. Her background includes working on interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of engineering and life sciences, with a strong focus on problem-solving and innovation. She is proficient in SolidWorks and ABAQUS, with hands-on experience in modeling, simulation, and design optimization. Ayda will be supporting the Mechanical Department, contributing her technical expertise and research-driven approach to strengthen ongoing projects.

The V01 will offer up to five robotic arms allowing surgeons to have multiple tools within reach, simplifying complex procedures and reducing the need for constant instrument changes. This streamlined approach not only saves time but also enhances surgical precision, making procedures more efficient and effective.
