Yesterday was Shrove Tuesday, a special day to enjoy sweet treats before the season of Lent begins! 🥞✨

Across our homes, residents and staff shared the simple joy of freshly cooked pancakes and the warm connections that come with it. At our Edens Landing home, some residents joined in the fun by helping to make some delicious pancakes topped with maple syrup and berries.

Thank you to our team who continue this tasty tradition alive each year! 🙌

Last weekend, our aged care homes were full of love as residents and staff came together to celebrate Valentine's Day. 🌹✨

It was a special time to honour enduring love and mark milestones that warm the heart – including a huge congratulations to Robert and Dorothy from Caloundra aged care home on their 65th wedding anniversary! 💕

Thank you to our amazing staff for helping create a day full of love and joy!

💖 This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating Allan and Nancy Schafer, who have shared an incredible 70 years of marriage since 1955!

Allan and Nancy first met through local soccer and dance, and that sense of community has shaped their lives ever since. Together, they raised three children and are now proud grandparents to nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Now residents at Caloundra aged care home, Allan and Nancy continue to brighten our days with their warmth and friendliness. Their bond is a beautiful reminder that true love grows stronger with time.

Happy Valentine’s Day to Allan and Nancy, and to everyone celebrating love in all its forms. 💕

On this World Day of the Sick, we pause to reflect on this year’s theme:
“The compassion of the Samaritan: Loving by bearing the pain of the other.” 💙

Across our homes and services, this message is lived each day through gentle care, listening hearts and the quiet presence of those who walk alongside people in times of illness and vulnerability.

Today, we give thanks for our dedicated staff, pastoral carers, volunteers and families who embody this compassion, and we hold in our thoughts all who are unwell or facing difficult moments.

May we continue to care for one another with tenderness, understanding and love. ✨

Our residents at Edens Landing aged care home got together for a fun cooking session, whipping up some delicious rocky road. They enjoyed stirring, mixing, and of course, tasting their creation – yum! 😋

It’s always such a joy to see everyone smiling and sharing these special moments together. 👩‍🍳

Our residents at Parque Vista Retirement Estate had a fantastic evening of celebration and community last week as we came together to celebrate the re-opening of Galton Green! Recently upgraded with a weatherproof roof and a brand-new bocce court, the refreshed common space was celebrated in style.

The evening was filled with live music, wine, and delicious canapés — and even more importantly, plenty of laughter, new friendships, and warm connections forming. It was a beautiful night that truly captured the spirit of village life 💚✨

Monday mornings at our Duhig Village aged care home are all about movement, smiles and a little well-earned relaxation! 💦😊

After a refreshing water therapy workout, our residents enjoyed winding down together in the heated spa, complete with soothing bubbles. It was the perfect way to relax tired muscles and start the week feeling good.

Well done to our residents for giving it a go and making the most of every splash! 🌊💙

It’s that time of the month again at Castra Aged Care in Murgon! 🍦🎶

Our beloved “Pink Ladies Ice Cream” trolley made its rounds, bringing music, laughter and delicious treats to the hallways. Residents eagerly await this special visit each month, and it’s always a highlight filled with smiles, chatter and sweet moments. 🩷

Nothing beats a little ice cream to brighten the day! Well done to our lifestyle team for making it possible! 🌟

Our homes and retirement villages were bursting with Aussie spirit this Australia Day! 🦘 From sizzling barbecues, meat pies and hearty lunches to morning tea concerts, poem readings, dancing — and even a good old-fashioned thong-throwing competition — there was laughter and joy everywhere you looked.

Stretton Gardens Retirement Estate truly turned it on, serving up a mouth-watering spread of classic Aussie desserts, from pavlova to lamingtons and everything in between, followed by a hearty barbecue shared with great company.

It was a wonderful day of connection, celebration and pride in the communities we call home. 💙✨

This week, our residents from Allora Nursing Home enjoyed a wonderful trip to the old picture theatre in Clifton to watch The Love Bug. 🎬 There were plenty of laughs and fond memories shared along the way.

After the movie, residents enjoyed a relaxing coffee together, chatting and reminiscing about days gone by. ☕ It’s mornings like these that remind us how special simple moments can be! 💙

Today, on the National Day of Mourning, we pause to remember the victims of the Bondi Beach terrorist attack and extend our deepest condolences to all affected.
