Since starting my business as a massage student in 2013 I have gained experience in a number of areas. For the last 5 years I have worked in the aged care and disability sectors helping clients relieve their muscular complaints. This can range from stiffness in the neck and shoulders, headaches and migraines to cramping due to reduced circulation. Each client is different and your treatment will be tailored to your needs, working on the muscles that are tight for you. Massage doesn't always have to be because of pain, stiffness or injury. Stress and anxiety are also major factors that impact our bodies greatly and massage is perfect for providing some relaxation. There are a range of different massage forms available at A Touch of Calm; however I like to provide Therapeutic treatments. I describe this as a combination of Relaxation and Remedial; a form a massage that is both relaxing but helps work on any tension areas. At any point during the treatment you can express whether pressure is to much/not enough; because your comfort is the most important. The prices at A Touch of Calm are 30 minutes for $40, 45 minutes for $55 and 60 minutes for $70. A Touch of Calm is open Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Fridays from 9:00am to 4:00pm as well as the 1st Saturday of each month from 9:00am to 12:30pm. Please be aware that bookings are essential so arrangements can be made. Since the 1st January 2025 A Touch of Calm became part of Calming Endeavours Pty Ltd. This change does not impact how A Touch of Calm will operate but allows for further opportunities as we slowly grow our services.
