Casual Mental Health Support Worker
📌Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Mental Health Support Workers. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them achieve greater independence and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily tasks, offering emotional support, and promoting positive mental health strategies.
📌Position Type:
Casual, approximately 12 hours per week
📌Location:
BUNDABERG
📌Pay Rate:
Paid at SCHADS award standards
📌Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support and assistance to individuals with mental health challenges in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks, meal preparation, household chores, and community outings
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals with mental health challenges
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
📌Requirements:
- Previous experience in mental health support work is preferred but not required
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals with mental health challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
