Unplugged Yoga Unplugged Yoga is a fresh and modern yoga studio located in Ashgrove, Brisbane.

We offer over 30 yoga classes per week ranging in different styles including Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative Yoga, Ashtanga-style Vinyasa, Power Yoga and Beginner Yoga.

This is a special one. Visiting practitioner Tania Duff-Tylter (Ahanita) is coming to Unplugged for a rare Brisbane appearance. Join us for a deeply immersive evening of ceremony, cacao and blue lotus, guided meditation and powerful sound healing. Expect grounding, release, nervous system reset and heart-opening sound woven throughout the night.

As the year wraps up, we’re inviting you to slow down for a moment and take a breath with us.

We wanted to share a little Reflection Bingo as a gentle way to notice the things that often slip past unnoticed, the quiet wins. Things like starting something new, learning how to breathe a little deeper, showing up for someone you love, or simply getting through a tough day. These things count. They always have.

As the year ends, you might like to reflect on a few simple questions:
🌿 What are you most grateful for?
🌿 What feels ready to be let go of?
🌿 What would you like to welcome in?

Thank you for being part of Unplugged this year, for showing up just as you are. We’re really grateful for this community, and we’re looking forward to flowing into 2026 together.

With very full hearts, we’re sharing that we’ll be saying goodbye to one of our beloved Unplugged instructors this January.

Roz has been part of the Unplugged family since the very beginning. Her deep wisdom, thoughtful teaching, and genuinely warm presence have shaped our community in ways that are hard to put into words. She has held space with such care, and her impact will be felt long after her final class.

Roz’s last class will be January 8th at 6:00am, and we’d love for you to join us to practise together and share a proper farewell if you’re able. While we’re incredibly sad to see her go, we wish her nothing but love and happiness in this next chapter. Our doors, and hearts, will always be open should she find her way back to the studio.

As we honour this goodbye, we’re also pleased to share that a familiar face, Laura Smith, will be returning to Unplugged. More details coming soon.

5 Ways to Take Care of Yourself This Christmas

1. Breathe before you react.
When things feel rushed or overwhelming, take three slow, conscious breaths. The pause between inhale and exhale is often where peace resides.

2. Move gently, often.
Even ten minutes of mindful movement can shift your energy and mood. Pop on your favourite playlist. Let your practice be intuitive. Flow, stretch, or simply lie in Savasana.

3. Protect your energy.
Say “yes” to what nourishes you, and “NO” to what drains you. Boundaries are a form of self-respect, not disconnection. You were not put on this earth to scatter your energy, but to shine it with intention.

4. Find stillness.
Between parties, presents, and plans, carve out small moments of quiet. Maybe a cup of tea in silence or a few minutes of meditation before bed. A little goes a long way.

5. Practice gratitude.
Each evening, reflect on three things you’re thankful for. Gratitude softens the mind and opens the heart, helping you move through the season with presence and joy.

We’ll be operating at a reduced timetable over the Christmas period from the 24th – 4th. During this time, there will be plenty of offerings to keep your body moving, your mind feeling grounded, and your energy centred as we edge closer to 2026.
Full closure of the studio on Christmas Day as we, too, take time to connect with loved ones on this festive day.

Zig Zag provides essential, trauma-informed support, safe spaces, and practical resources to those who need it most. Small acts of generosity can make a real difference.

If you’ve been around Unplugged for a while, you already know this gem.

Vanessa has been part of our Unplugged Yoga family since 2021, and she continues to bring the calm, the wisdom, and all the nurturing vibes to every class she teaches.
While she’s a true wealth of knowledge in the yoga world, her heart belongs to anything chill. Think soothing Yin, cozy Restorative, and gentle, grounding flows. Her classes feel like a warm hug for your nervous system.

And her favourite food? Cheese.
