Sometimes endings aren't chosen, they're circumstantial.

A client moves, life shifts and suddenly, a therapeutic relationship that still had more to give comes to a close. Not because the work is done, but because geography gets in the way.

These endings carry a particular tenderness. There's often unfinished business, unexpressed gratitude, and a quiet grief on both sides of the room.

But even when the timing isn't perfect, an ending can still be held well. It can still honour what was built, name what mattered, and send someone forward with something real to carry.
