It’s been a privilege to walk alongside Isabella and her family through Uniting In Home Care helping her stay connected to playgroups, learning, and community life—even in tough times. 💕

Yesterday, across our Uniting Early Learning services, we hosted “Wear Pink for Izzy” Day 👚—coming together to raise funds for a stair climber so Izzy can safely access her home and community. 🏡✨ Every contribution counts.

We need your help to lift Isabella Up—Literally and Figuratively

Isabella is a joyful 7-year-old whose smile brightens every space she enters. She’s part of the In Home Care program, completing school via distance education while her parents rely on before and after school care to keep working.

Her journey began with incredible strength, born at just 29 weeks and surviving a life-threatening condition and cardiac arrest at birth. Against all odds, Isabella pulled through and continues to inspire everyone she meets.
She lives with several medical supports, affectionately named Percy, Gertrude, Button, and Porty. In July 2025, Isabella was diagnosed with Perthes Disease and now uses a wheelchair. But her home has 14 stairs, meaning she must be carried in and out daily.

Uniting Early Learning is raising funds for a stair climber to help Isabella safely access her home and community. This device will give her greater independence and allow her to keep exploring the world with her signature smile.
