✨ Girls Club Recap ✨

Over the school holidays, the Beyond OT team had the best time running our Girls Club social groups! 💕

We kicked things off with a creative beading session in the clinic, where the girls designed their own pieces while practising chatting with each other, sharing ideas, and getting to know one another 💬🧵

We then took the fun out into the community with a morning at Plaster Fun House 🎨 — a great opportunity to keep those conversations going, build confidence in a new environment, and continue forming connections.

These groups were all about supporting skills like:
💗 Joining and maintaining conversations
💗 Steps to making new friends
💗 Building strong conversational skills
💗 Growing confidence in social situations

It was so lovely to see the girls building connections, practicing their social skills and seeing their confidence grow!

With the school term quickly coming to a close and the Christmas season now in full swing, our team at Beyond OT will be taking a short break over the end of year period.

Until then, all appointments will continue as usual, however if you would like to change times for some flexibility over the school holidays, make sure to have a chat to your OT at your next appointment, or reach out via email.

Together we practiced healthy meal choices, planning, sequencing, following steps, and working as a team, all while whipping up some delicious food. 🥣🍌🍪
