Wise words from the late great Bowie....

We're conditioned to automatically think 'there is always someone worse off than me'. While this can appear to be be true, suppressing emotions because you've been told they aren't valid eventually makes you believe you aren't worthy of having any.

They cannot be kept in check or ignored forever...they tend to find their way out in other ways. What was once sadness becomes a compact ball of anxiety...anger or if we're unable to express at all, they find their way out in other ways such as physical or self harm. One way or another it works its way out into the world because it was never meant to stay inside.

Emotion is literally, energy in motion.

Your version of sadness or pain doesn't need to equal or exceed another's to be considered sad or painful. Everyone's version of these individual experiences is unique and valid.

Allow it. Feel it. Express it. It's yours and no one else's. Everyone has a different version of hell...and heaven...and those too, are just as unique.

At the end of every session my clients and I sit and not only reflection on the session, but next steps.

Treatments are amazing, and can even be life-changing, but it's just beginning and the real work begins when you realise you are responsible for your own energy and walk out the door.

All my clients have heard me say at one time or another GROUNDING.....please please.please.connect with nature, feel the grass between your toes.....hug a tree.....stroke the leaves of your indoor plant of that's all you can get, but our connection to nature is intrinsic, essential and just part of what we have always done that somehow, we no longer do.

Intelligent life? Yes they are.......and so are you.....so get amongst it 🌳🌳🌳👐🏼👐🏼👐🏼🥰🥰🥰
