MATAI Care is on the lookout for passionate and reliable Youth Workers and Support Workers to join our growing team in Cairns.

We’re partnering with Deadly Inspiring Youth Doing Good (DIYDG) to host an open info session where you’ll hear about:

Shout out to this legend for chasing his dreams! 💫

Hunter performed at the Australian National Athletics Titles in April. He is the definition of “hard work pays off”. Finishing 4th in his chosen event, Long Jump with spikes (he has never worn) and 2cm off his personal best.

Hunter’s road to Perth looked something like this:

January 1 2025: Goal Setting session with Yalgan Support Services
- Hit a personal best ✔️
- Qualify for State Titles ✔️
- Qualify for Nationals ✔️
- Be consistent ✔️
- Training 2 x per week ✔️

Not only did Hunter smash those goals, he did it all in less than 5 months!

Now Hunter is on the hunt for a job and a potential sponsor for his sporting efforts. SWIPE FOR HIS CV 📄

He is currently studying a cert 4 in fitness and needs to complete prac hours in a gym. If you know anyone who owns/manages a gym that can help out please reach out.
