Daily or weekly planners are a great way to support your child. Having a visual schedule at home can:

-Foster Independence/ choice/ control over their day
-Reduce emotional dysregulation or anxiety associated with unknown events or appointments
-Support the development of self management

Tips:
*Use pictures & simple cue words
*Make sure it's dynamic (whiteboard, wipe off stickers)
*Tick systems or pull off velcro can support accountability and a sense of achievement
*Create on word & print A3, use pre-made templates or buy schedule boards from officeworks
*Make visually appealing with colour, bolding or theme
