Hi everyone,
We wanted to provide you with a quick update regarding our services during this challenging time.
We are doing our best to cover as many shifts as possible and check in on our clients. However, as you may already be aware, we are facing several difficulties:
• A significant number of both staff and clients are currently without power.
• Many staff and clients have lost phone reception, making communication difficult.
• Widespread road closures have prevented us from reaching some clients’ homes, and in many cases, we have been unable to notify them in advance.
We understand that some clients have been without support for multiple days, and we want to assure you that we are prioritising safety while doing everything possible to check in on people as soon as we can.
If we are able to get to you and service your shift, please understand that we are minimising travel on the roads as much as possible to ensure the safety of both staff and clients.
