🌈 Making visual schedules FUN and child-led! 🌈

Our Therapists have been using coloured pom-poms to help little learners see what activities are coming up in their session. Each task gets its own pom-pom… and the child chooses which colour they want to start with! 💛💙💚❤️

This simple choice gives kids a sense of control, reduces anxiety, and makes transitions between activities so much easier 🙌✨

Our little learners use the reindeer popper to shoot a cup and whatever cup they hit, they say the long vowel sound on it! 🔤✨

A super fun way to consolidate long vowel knowledge so they can use it confidently in both spelling and reading.

🐍💛 Minion Mischief + ‘SN’ Sounds! 💛🐍

This week’s session was all about practising the tricky /sn/ sound… Minion style!

We used our fluffy snake friend to remind little learners to “keep the snake in the cage”. Meaning their tongue stays behind their teeth while they say words like snail, snow, sneeze, and snack. 🐍🦷✨

Add a storyline, some Minions, and a silly snake… and suddenly speech practice becomes fun, memorable, and totally engaging! 🙌😄💛
