Always striving to make our services better, more thorough, and more enjoyable for every person who walks through our doors. Because physiotherapy isn’t just about treating injuries, it’s about treating the individual. Each person has specific needs, and they deserve care that is tailored to them.

That’s what Motion Ease is about.

Meniscus injuries are one of the most common knee injuries, especially in combat sports, and this is largely due to the amount of rotation that happens under load.

Here is what we have been doing with .

If you’re dealing with knee pain, swelling, clicking, or instability don’t ignore. Get it assessed. Build a proper plan. And rehab it the right way.

If you need help, send a DM or book in let’s get you back to training properly.

Want to recover like an athlete? This is what we did for .

Everyone treats their training professionally, but you need to treat your recovery the same way.

Because when you recover better, you feel better.
And when you feel better, you move better.

Recovery isn’t optional. It’s part of the program.

came in today with an acute adductor strain so here’s what we did.

Because it’s acute, we don’t want to load the tissue too heavily just yet. This is where isometrics come into play. They provide a stimulus that doesn’t overly aggravate the injured area, while still giving the tissue enough load to assist the healing process.

Session focus:

1. Half-kneeling adductor isometric holds – 3 x 30 seconds
2. Long lever adductor isometric holds – 3 x 30 seconds

At this acute stage, that’s more than enough. The goal is controlled stimulus without flare-up. We will progressively increase load as symptoms improve.

We finished the session with some needling to help manage pain.

Letsss gooo !!

Due to the nature of Judo being shorter matches, along with the scoring of an ippon which decides the winner and ends the match, this makes Judo a much faster, dynamic sport. It incorporates many changes of direction and high-impact throws, which is why Judo carries a higher risk in comparison to sports such as Jiu Jitsu.

Here’s a clip of breaking down the injuries.
