I came across this quote last week. It really resonated with me as I come to terms that the Universe has other plans for me that I wasn’t quite expecting.

I am currently in Australia, a decision our family had to make quite quickly for various reasons. It has been a stressful time trying to manage so many circumstances out of my control and remain harmonious at the same time!

I always find it intriguing when situations are taken out of your hands and, amongst what seems like chaos, the Universe brings an opportunity, a new path at your feet. Of course we always have choice, even when we feel like there is none, there is!

So I went with the choice to stay. Stay in my birth country that I never thought I would come back to live in. Live separately from half my family. Suddenly have to say goodbye to so many dear friends and clients from afar.

The decision was made and then it was about getting my head around it. This last fortnight has been filled with tears, questions, anger, sadness, anxiety, hope & acceptance.

I am truly grateful for my time in Bahrain. It will always hold a very special place in my heart. I found my passion of working with animals there. I also worked with some of the most amazing, loving, dedicated people. I will never forget the deep, authentic connections made. Even as I write this, I feel a huge empty hole that I know will take time to close.

Happy Chinese New Year. 2022. Year of the Tiger.

This year is all about new changes & overcoming difficulties & challenges. It is about risk taking, growth, adventure, creation & planning.

A new tool in the kit to bring out & use.

So excited for two of my foster dogs, Emmett and Violet, to start a new adventure in Canada.

It has been such a collective team effort to rescue them, home them, train them, find an adopter abroad, get them flight-ready, fly them over. So much time, effort and money but always worth it when you see them living their new life.
