We’re looking for an Youth Outreach Street Worker to join our Youth Outreach team based in Coopers Plains.

This role supports young people by meeting them where they are, helping keep them safe, and providing evening transport home or to a safe place. By building trust and connecting young people to support when they’re ready, you’ll play an important role in early intervention—helping them stay out of the justice system and work towards their goals.

It’s been a big few weeks for our men’s and women’s groups!

From creative and cultural activities, strong walking groups, and yarns across Logan, Gabba and Northside, there’s been a lot happening.

Logan men’s group had a deadly turnout, joined by -Burri-Ba and Beaudesert men’s groups thanks Metro South Health, with a surprise visit from comedian, Sean Choolburra! Staff and students from the Centre Education Program also popped in for a yarn and some good laughs.

Deadly to see mob connecting, getting creative and supporting each other. 🫶

What a deadly way to celebrate Harmony Week 💛
We loved coming together to share a yarn, enjoy a nice lunch, and take part in activities that encouraged appreciation, connection and learning about each other’s cultures. From compliment walls and boxes filled with kind words for colleagues, to decking out our spaces in orange, it was a beautiful reminder of the strength we have in diversity.
