Regional voices matter.
Today, REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella and Chair Peter Camphin are on the ground in regional Queensland, meeting with local agents, listening to their priorities, and gaining firsthand insight into the opportunities and challenges shaping their markets.

In Bundaberg, they met with Rebecca Beer, Principal of Raine & Horne Bundaberg. A long-time supporter of the REIQ, Rebecca began her real estate career at just 19 before launching her own office. As a graduate of the REIQ training course, she continues to invest in professional development, now putting members of her own team through REIQ training to build the next generation of skilled agents.

In Gladstone, Antonia and Peter connected with Andrew Allen, Managing Director of Ray White - Gladstone. A highly experienced agent leading a large and established business, Andrew shared valuable insights into the needs of central Queensland agencies and their communities.

Strong regional markets are vital to Queensland’s property sector. By meeting agents, the REIQ ensures the voices of regional Queensland are heard, shaping advocacy, education and support that reflects the realities of doing business on the ground.
