Eczema Support Australia is hosting an online event with ACD Fellow Dr Gayle Ross on Wednesday 27 July.

Dr Ross is the lead clinician at the atopic dermatitis clinic at Royal Melbourne Hospital and will share information on new and emerging treatments to help Australians living with eczema.

A special issue on skin cancer prevention is out today, published in the journal Public Health Research & Practice. The edition highlights the ongoing public health challenge of turning around Australia’s reputation as the skin cancer capital of the world. More than two in three Australians will have a skin cancer excision in their lifetime, according to research in this issue, and papers highlight key areas for action. These include increasing shade in the built environment, greater investment in evidence-based behaviour change campaigns and new approaches to early detection.

We are looking for a Nurse to join us at Stafford. Dermatology Nursing is a varied and interesting hands on role. Training in Specialist Dermatology treatments will be provided. This position would suit an applicant looking for a long term position.

We have a permanent position available 4-5 days per week (negotiable) . Previous Dermatology or General Practice nursing experience is highly regarded. Immediate start.
