After being misdiagnosed with bronchitis, asthma, and psoriasis and then eventually nearly dying, I was finally diagnosed with sarcoidosis at the ripe age of 43 😩

It’s like watching a TV show with a huge plot twist revealed at the end of the season…

Then rewatching it with this new knowledge, seeing all the foreshadowing you missed,
and getting angry that you didn’t see it sooner 😡and even angrier that nobody did, especially the “professionals”… 😞

That’s what late diagnosis feels like.
You finally get answers, but you can’t help but wonder how different the story could’ve been. 💜

Neither. We’re the permanently exhausted pigeons of the world 😩 just trying to survive the day. 🕊️💤

Living with sarcoidosis (or any chronic illness) means waking up tired, staying tired, and going to bed… you guessed it…still tired! It’s not from lack of sleep; it’s from fighting a battle our bodies never stop waging. 😴

So if you’re running on fumes, carrying pain like a ball and chain, and still showing up every day you’re doing better than you think. 💪🏾💜

Then there’s PAXHAUSTION 😩 that special level of total body shutdown where pain and exhaustion gang up on you until you’re just… done.

It’s not sleepiness. It’s not laziness. It’s your body screaming “enough” while your mind still tries to keep going.
