This month, we were delighted to welcome Abhinav Bidani, Trade and Investment Queensland Commissioner for South Asia, and Amelia Chan, Senior Trade and Investment Officer (International) to the Qlicksmart office.

It was a valuable opportunity to discuss the evolving landscape of manufacturing in India and explore how Queensland products can contribute to healthcare globally.

What a fantastic event last Friday at SEQ North’s first Women in BIO & Health Industry Forum for 2026! 👏

Qlicksmart’s Managing Director & CEO, Dr Chamindika Konara, joined an exceptional panel of women leading operations across Queensland’s biotechnology, biomedical and health sectors. She was joined by Dr Kym Baker (Thermo Fisher Scientific) and Tamanna Monem, GAICD (QIMR Berghofer), with additional presentations from Austrade, Trade and Investment Queensland, and Life Sciences Queensland (LSQ) on the support programs available to organisations in the sector.

A reflection from attendee Sara H. Alipour, Qlicksmart’s Quality Assurance and R&D Assistant, captured the morning:

“The speakers and the panel really brought out the importance of community, support networks and not being shy in reaching out & asking for help.”

We are grateful to be part of an event that puts these conversations front and centre.

We were honoured to welcome Jennifer Pigoga Hart, PhD, Clinical Research Consultant for the World Health Organization, to the Qlicksmart office this month.

During her visit, we shared a hands‑on product demonstration and engaged in meaningful discussion about how practical, evidence‑based innovations can improve safety for clinicians and patients around the world. It was a highly valuable exchange with exciting opportunities on the horizon.
