As an Acupuncturist I was very lucky to have had Herbs included in my Degree,I loved herbs and we had very experienced herbalists lecturers and I made sure I did their supervised clinics 🙂. We had big semesters with 6 or 7 subjects in each until our last few semesters, where we were in supervised clinics we thought we were so lucky to only have 5 subjects. Was it a lot? it was but it blended well doing both east and west. Bit of yin and yang balance. ☯️

Every Year as a Registered Practitioner you get to choose what extra study you will do for the year,
🧠usually mine have themes as I build on my knowledge,
🧠 2025 was a Neurological theme
🪷few years ago I did all I could on Fertility and Women’s Health
🧠I have really enjoyed the subjects I have picked this year
for continuing education
🧠my brain does hurt a little as it is a lot to take in and process
🧠my Spleen energy needs to be healthy for focus and short term memory,
🧠Long term memory is another post

What are my Qualifications? I have studied a 4 your Bachelor of Health science Degree Acupuncture, which is an AHPRA approved degree!!! I am an Ahpra Registered Chinese Medicine practitioner, just as Medical doctors, Physio, Chiros, Nurses, Dentists,Paramedics are also along with others and I am an AACMA member.
