Now vs then!

Born 13 weeks early in 2021, twins Abigail and Georgiana Mirapuri spent their first few months receiving round-the-clock specialist care in Mater's Neonatal Critical Care Unit.

This year, these little miracles reached a new milestone—starting Prep!

"We are forever grateful for the exceptional care, love, and support you gave our babies from the very beginning" their family shared.

Wishing the Mirapuri family all the very best as Abigail and Georgiana begin their first year of school.

A tiny fighter from the very start. ♥️

Baby Waverly arrived at just 23 weeks and 3 days, weighing a tiny 505 grams.

Her journey began after a serious 20-week scan revealed her mum wasn’t able to carry her to term.

After in-utero treatment to help strengthen her tiny lungs, Waverly was born and spent the next 118 days in the Neonatal Critical Care Unit, fighting for every breath. Her story is one of hope and incredible strength.

Pregnancies don't always go according to plan, something Ingrid and Sass know all too well.

Their journey into motherhood began with Baby Waverly arriving 17 weeks early, and spending the first 118 days of her life fighting for every breath.

Waverly battled through so much—respiratory distress, heart problems, and life-threatening infections. "She was a fighter," Ingrid said, "but she needed all the help she received."

Sass and Ingrid are sharing their story of how neonatal research and care saved their precious baby, to help raise awareness and inspire hope for other families.
