If you access QuIHN & Better Access Medical Clinic at then please have a read of the following info.

To keep everyone as safe as possible, QuIHN & Better Access Medical Clinic have made some temporary changes to the way we provide services.

If you have received a positive test (PCR or RAT) in the last 72 hours, QuIHN is asking you not to come in to the Bowen Hills service. Instead, please remain outside the building and call Reception on 36208111, or knock on the door and we will come to speak with you.

If you are already a client/patient and you are COVID19 positive, then QuIHN & Better Access Medical can see you via appointments. If you are a new client/patient, then give us a buzz and we can advise you on options available for you.

Oh, and please dont forget to wear a mask 😷

👨‍⚕️ It's important that you go to your usual, confirmed doctors appointments - your health care provider is expecting to see you. This can be via if you qualify or a face-to-face consultation.

🏥 Your health and safety is our highest priority. If you require emergency care, our hospitals and emergency departments are open, safe and well prepared to look after you. In an emergency situation call triple zero (000) immediately.

😷 If you're experiencing symptoms of (COVID-19), please contact your doctor immediately. Our facilities have COVID-19 infection prevention instructions and our wonderful health care professionals are there to help you.

Welcome to Friday… And it's a lockdown ☹

To keep everyone safe it is important we all follow the directions for mask wearing and limiting activities to those that are essential only. QuIHN and Better Access Medical Clinic is an essential service so we will remain open to look after you and the community.

There are some minor changes to our procedures, but nothing you haven't seen us do before.

* Our nurses will ask you some questions at the door before you enter the building. If you do have any cold or flu symptoms (or those other symptoms of COVID), you won't be turned away but we will work with you to make sure you are COVID free.

* This may mean ensuring you are sent for a test, or talking to your GP via phone from outside the clinic.

* QuIHN and Better Access Medical Clinic has full capacity to provide services.

* If you need to see a doctor, please call us and make an appointment!

We can do this together! Let's continue to follow our Government's guidelines and stay at home as much as possible!

This week QuIHN celebrates Transgender Awareness Week 2020 ( )
This week and diverse people and allies share stories and experiences and advocate around issues of prejudice, discrimination, and violence that affect the transgender & gender community.
This week also includes Transgender Day of Remembrance (20th Nov). A day to honour the memory of the lives lost to acts of transphobia and discrimination.

& TDoR is a time for gathering, togetherness, and solidarity.
