REMEDIAL MASSAGE focuses on muscles and tendons that have become tense, knotted or damaged. Massaging these tense areas helps speed up the body’s own repair mechanisms to create homeostasis, therefore healing the cause of the disorder, as well as the symptoms.
• Specialised techniques are used to locate and repair damage to muscles, tendons and joints
• Passive and active joint stretching may be used
• Gentle, strong, deep or shallow in pressure, depending on your needs

SPORTS MASSAGE comes in many forms, whether it is to have a ‘training’ treatment, or a pre- or post-event massage, to help avoid pain when you need to be working hardest. Benefits of Remedial Massage include:
• Relief of muscular tension
• Ease of chronic pain
• Relief of postural or work-related stresses
• Increase of local blood circulation for faster healing
• Restoration of normal function to damaged tissues
• Improvement in range of motion for joints
• Aids in the break down of chronic cycles of tension, muscle spasm and pain
