Want to build confidence in your clinical skills or get some extra DOPS practice? Join us for Medical Skills Day, a hands-on workshop designed for Year 1 and 2 medical students to learn and practise key procedures in a supportive environment.

💉 Cannulation & Venepuncture
🧬 Oncology Station (in collaboration with UQONC)

Learn from GPs and experienced student volunteers while gaining practical experience and refining your clinical skills.

Calling for Medical Student Volunteers to assist with ACRRM (Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine) Registrar training!

🚨Gift cards, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided for your time.

Venue: Ibis Hotel, Brisbane Airport

Date: Wednesday 5th November 2025

Time: 8:30am – 4:00pm

Medical students will be required to role play for case discussions of the following topics: Difficult Conversations, Ethical Dilemmas and Chronic Pain.

It will be an opportunity to be exposed to primary care training and development and network with ACRRM Medical Educators, Training Program Advisors and Registrars. Please reach out to education@trohpiq.org if you are interested. Transportation can be arranged.
