Christmas coming too soon? End of year wrap up stressing you out? 😫

It’s time for a nervous system rest - and I can help. 😌

✨ My name’s Eva and I am an Acupressure practitioner with a focus to bring relaxation and pain relief to my clients, whether human or animal. I take pride in providing a professional service with a warm and friendly manner that will ensure you are feeling safe, listened to and looked after. 💙

🙏Acupressure is a super gentle, non-invasive bodywork technique tapping into the same points and theory as Acupuncture, but using gentle finger pressure to activate points instead of needles. It is highly effective; my human clients always say “I feel so relaxed I could fall asleep, and my pain is gone!” after their session, and the owners of my doggy clients tell me “I’ve never seen him so relaxed!”

📆 This is your last chance to book before I go on break 19 December - and I have only a few spots left! So swing me a message to book in yourself and/or your pet now, and be ready for you and your pet to start the Christmas break feeling your/their best!

📌Appointments available at Studio 34a, Highgate Hill, Brisbane, or mobile Brisbane and surrounds for animal clients.

It was a truly beautiful morning: the vibe was so relaxed and good energy filled the lovely studio space.

I hope you all learnt something and found it as enjoyable and valuable as I did.

Thank you to and and for the photos.

We are hoping to make this an annual end of year event 😊🌼

It’s been a week since I arrived back in Brisbane. I had been away visiting my family for three weeks in Southwest WA. It was lovely spending time out in nature, with the horses and the hounds, and of course, valuable time with my family members.

Things always change every time I go back, and while not all change is bad, I sometimes find it a shock to the system. In these cases, no matter how balanced I am internally, external forces can take their toll and I find myself in need of a rebalance. In these cases I seek out an Alternative Therapy Practitioner to help me return to homeostasis.

There are plenty of ways this can be achieved, but I find acupressure not only super gentle and relaxing, but extremely effective. My family are always lining up for sessions whenever I visit, even the animals!

If ever you feel like you need the world to stop for a moment, so you can catch up, or find yourself rocked by things out of your control, send me a DM to book in a session, so I can let you know how Acupressure can help you.

In the meantime, Enjoy these beautiful photos I took in my time away.

Today I will show you two points that are great for the water element, which resonates with the season of winter. At this time, it is important to support the Kidneys and the Bladder.

The two points pictured are

Kidney 3 - located on the inside of the leg, directly behind the ankle bone.
On a horse or a dog (or a cat if one is willing!) kidney 3 is located at the inner hock joint, in the dip in front of the calcaneus bone (the one that creates the point of hock).

Kidney 3 is the source point of the Kidneys. It tonifies the Kidneys and is great for supporting the urinary tract, ankles, lower back and issues relating to fear, stress. It helps to ground the body.

Bladder 40 - is located in the centre of the knee crease at the back of the leg.
On a horse or dog, it is located on the back of the outside of the leg, at the level of the stifle. You will find a little divot here.

Bladder 40 is great for supporting bladder health. It is a point I commonly turn to in the case of lower back, leg and hip pain.

Kidney and Bladder points are excellent for revitalising and rejuvenating the body.

I hope these points help you. Let me know in the comments!

If you are looking for a gentle, non-invasive and totally safe way to help your body into balance and good health, DM me and book an acupressure session.
