Hey crew,
Is your mind loud? Feel like you need some tools to manage the noise and create some calm within?
Check this out...

I created this whilst working a full-time job (which I totally love), travelling (which I also love), volunteering, teaching (my favourite activity), doing life. The reason for this creation is because I look around and see a need for it. The lovely peeps landing in class, the people I chat with during volunteering, the corporate spaces I have worked in, the non-profit space, people are firing on all cylinders (amazing, we love productive queens and kings), however there is also a sense of fatigue and overwhelm. How to stay calm, clear, grounded and also joyful?
How do you manage and keep multiple balls in the air? It's by regularly incorporating rest and nourishing practices into your day and week, making it a habit and lifestyle.
E.G CHILD'S POSE
One of the poses we explore is child's pose. Sit daily with knees to edges of your mat, hips back, arms extended and stay for 10 breaths (check out pic which shows this shape). When you do this, you help to release your lower spine muscles, hips and shoulders. Soften your face, release your jaw, notice the air on your skin...
If you find the info about poses/asanas and meditation helpful, the new offering of mine is there to help. This offering of mine on my website is to kick-start your self-care practice with guided meditations, an intro to yin yoga (slow yoga practice with longer holds to create some peace and calm within). You don't need hours to start this practice, 10 - 15 minutes at most per day and you can work through the workbook over a week.
