Greek Yoghurt vs Greek Style Yoghurt

These have a similar consistency, however made in different ways

If you were wanting something with higher protein, that’s where you’d want to go for the proper greek yoghurt

If you want something budget friendly, the greek style is usually the cheaper option

I wouldnt necessarily avoid the greek style because of the thickeners (since they aren’t necessarily negative for health) - I just think it’s interesting more than anything

Marketing labels can be quite deceiving - they often make products seem far more nutrient dense than they actaully are

e.g. the foods mentioned in here ones I’d occasionally as a treat rather than a wholefood stable in my day to day diet

Some clear examples of why the health rating system might not necessarily suit your goals or provide more nutrition

The system accounts for some nutrients (like protein, fibre etc.)

However fails to account for all nutrients, and also penalises foods for being higher in calories (even when those calories are coming from whole, nutrient-dense ingredients)

Tbh I wouldnt even look at the rating system and read the label instead
