With R U OK? Day tomorrow, we’re encouraging everyone to take a moment to reach out. A simple question can be the start of a meaningful conversation — especially for someone who might be finding things tough.

We know it’s not always easy to know what to say, so we’ve shared a few gentle prompts to help make those moments of connection a little more comfortable.

Swipe through to see how we’re preparing to support each other — and help make tomorrow a little easier for someone who needs it.

What do you call a group of music therapists?

🎶 A chord… a symphony… an orchestra… a melody.

Whatever you call them, we’d like to celebrate our team of music therapists this World Music Therapy week. Belmont is lucky to have three Registered Music Therapists who provide both inpatient and outpatient care to our community.

Music Therapy can support people living with mental illness to…
🎵 foster wellbeing, hope and meaning
🎵 improve motivation, management of daily activities and quality of life
🎵 reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression
🎵 rebuilding and maintaining social connections
🎵 improving capacity to function [austmta.org.au]
