"I have already filled out the radiation waiver once, do I have to do it again?"

Yes, you do. It is a requirement of our Radiation Possession Licence that every person must fill out a waiver before every scan.

BMI IS MISLEADING! 👎👎

'Body Mass Index' as a measurement doesn’t account for athletic populations with a lot of lean muscle... the more lean muscle you have, the more you weigh, and the higher your BMI is going to be, incorrectly classifying athletic populations as obese.

With equal weight, fat looks 3 times bigger than muscle, so a DEXA scan will put your weight into context, telling you far more than just how heavy you are, and giving you an accurate picture of your progress in terms of muscle development and fat loss.

If you have extras cover with Dietetics included with your private health insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate from your health fund and you could save up to $50. Bring your private health insurance card with you and we will scan it through our HICAPs terminal - you’ll only pay the difference between the amount of your rebate and our total fee for the DEXA scan.
