ICU Optometry is a thriving independent optometry practice in Bardon, operating continuously for 30 years. We are a small team consisting of a practice manager, two optometrists and two Assistant Practice Managers, one of whose shoes you will fill.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
· appointment book management
· communication with patients
· optical sales and dispensing
· reception duties
· keeping the practice clean & tidy
You will need:
· a sunny disposition

· great people skills
· ability to work both in a team and independently
Optical industry experience is preferred. On the job training will also be provided, as every optometry practice is different. We do not use KPIs - we believe that the most important parts of how you relate to our patients cannot be reduced to a few simple numbers.
We offer a competitive hourly rate, no Sundays and no evenings. The position is currently offered for 18 hours per week, but we expect that that will increase to 26 hours later in the year.
